# Frequently Asked Security Questions

| Question | Short Answer |

| If Juris DAO disappears, can I still withdraw my deposits? | Yes. Funds sit in non-custodial smart contracts; anyone can call the withdrawal function directly from a block explorer. |
| What happens if I lose my hardware wallet? | Use your written seed phrase to restore on a new device. Without the phrase, funds are unrecoverable—Juris support cannot reset it. |
| Can Juris freeze or seize my collateral? | No. Contracts contain no admin key for pausing individual user funds; only automated liquidation code can move collateral, and only when HF < 1.0. |
| How often are audits repeated? | Every major upgrade or addition of a new product module triggers a fresh third-party audit and public report. |
| Is KYC required to use the app? | No. Juris Protocol is permissionless—wallet signature only. KYC was performed on core team members for accountability, not on users. |
| Has Juris ever been hacked? | No incidents to date. Audit score = 100/100 on SolidProof’s TrustNet. |
| What should I do if I suspect a phishing site? | Immediately leave the page, verify URL spelling, and report the link in the official Discord or Telegram so the community can warn others. |
| Does staking lock my tokens in an admin wallet? | No; staked tokens are held in the staking contract, withdrawable by you after the lock period ends. |
