# Jurisdiction & User Eligibility

Juris Protocol is an open-source software suite deployed on the permissionless Terra Classic blockchain. It may be illegal or restricted to access or use certain features in specific territories (e.g., the United States, Canada, China, certain EU Member States, sanctioned countries). If you are a citizen or resident of a jurisdiction where decentralised lending, borrowing, staking or derivative-like products are prohibited or require prior authorisation, you must refrain from interacting with the smart-contracts or front-end interfaces.

By initiating any on-chain transaction you represent and warrant that you are 18 years or older, legally competent, and not subject to economic or trade sanctions administered by OFAC, the EU, the UK, the UN or any other relevant authority.
