# AML / CFT Policy

Because Juris Protocol is autonomous software, it does not perform KYC onboarding. However, front-end interfaces may:

* restrict IP addresses from comprehensively sanctioned regions;
* integrate wallet-screening APIs (e.g., Chainalysis) to block addresses tagged for ransomware, darknet-market or terrorism finance connections.

On-chain privacy tools (mixers, shields) must be used lawfully. Suspicious activity reported by users may be forwarded to competent authorities.
